Prayer for my Grandma

On Tuesday night my grandma had a heart attack. She is now in the hospital where they are stabilizing her. Please have her in your prayers. Inshallah she will pass through this hard time smoothly.

Waking up late is not fun

Today has been hard. I was up all night trying to turn on my computer who desides when it wants to work. I got about 4 hours of sleep. Then I woke up late after my long night and had to rush over to class. I think I actually woke up as I walked into it. :)...

Good news about today is that I got a job. YAY... so I am finally working.. Can't wait till I start and get my first check.

Im sorry if I talked to anyone today and came off as snappy I just have really know sleep. Also this year has started out rough since most of my friends from last year just dont talk to me for some reason that I am not very sure about. So I appologise if I snapped at anyone I really try to take in all the information I can and sometimes I just get over welmed.

On wednesday its gonna be my holiday and I'm starting to feel the feeling of wanting to be back home so I can celebrate with all the family and friends. But I'm here in Cali trying to make the best of it. Hope everything works out...

Good Morning

Im sitting at the kitchen table right now with my laptop. I feel like this laptop has something seriously wrong with it. Some times it works fine but it also has days that it just keeps shutting off on me. I need to get it fixed because you know how frustrating it is when you finally get to a website you need or even writing a paper and your computer just shuts off for no reason. Ya so I need to fix that soon.

Yesterday I had a computer science test. I feel like a geek taking this class. Its all about writing programs, and I dont really see my self being some type of person that writes programs for a Job. Well see by the end of the semester if I continue to think this.

The picture that I put is of my twin cousins. I love them so much. They visited two weekend ago. They are fluent in both arabic and english, and their only four. I think they can even speak better arabic then me. Sad but semi true... hehe

Long Day

Today was so long. I got to school at 9:40 thinking it would take me like 15 minutes tops to find a parking. It turned out to take me about 50 min to find something. I actually didn't even park at my university. I was late for my class and ahh it was not fun.

From all that walking I did I really know I'm gonna enjoy breaking my fast on my dorm made kufta. I'm starting to get better at cooking. YAY

Hey guys I decided to start this blog since I think it would be nice to inform people about my life in California. So I moved into the dorms at California State University of Northridge about a month ago. I live with three girls: Meghan (my very cool roomate), Jamie and Lucy. We all get a long and all are very clean (thank God.) That was possibly my worst fear but ya we are clean.

I am currently trying to find a Job. I want to make enough so that one day I can fix my bent car door, and still have money to spare on my self. Other then that life right now is fasting/going to classes/meeting new people.

Hope I stay updated with this blog thing. I think I'll probably be writing in it when I'm procrastinating from my homework (which I do a lot.)
